خم الرماد مصطلح أطلق على أفعال يقوم بها بعض السودانيين عندما يقترب شهر رمضان المعظم وبالتحديد اليوم الذى يسبقه و القصد منها إشباع النفس بحيث تستطيع قضاء رمضان بعيدا على الشهوات

I can see that you have captured "Elsoog El-Arabi" really well!Looking at your photo of "El-Gami'e El-Kabeer" just takes me there!
This story "Kham El-Ramad"reminds me of Khartoum alot in this particular occasion/time of the year. Enjoy Ramadan with the Sudanese Spirit. ( I wish I was there!)
